Prom night is unforgettable when your date is the one you really like: things are all right, bright and delightful. This night is perfect for the dance enjoyable even when the music of love is already fading. You wouldn’t want to ruin this great moment because of your dress, would you? Here are some things to remember.
(1) Think of your size and shape. This is no time for pretension: look your best without wearing a prom dress that isn’t fit for you. Make an effort to be as beautiful as possible. Your date sees you as you are because you are real to your self. First impression lasts, remember.
(2) What’s the color of your school’s prom? Well, there are schools which choose to allow students to wear any color of dress they want; others prefer red/pink and blue color of the prom dresses. If by chance any color is permitted, try your favorite color or any color except glaring colors like gold, orange, etc. Or you may also ask your date’s favorite color: who knows he may fall in-love with you because of that.
(3) Choose a not so sexy style of suit. Most boys like sexy but not this time; beauty or simplicity is worth remembering than a lust-provoking dress. Prom dresses are meant for something special. And when the dance starts, he can carry you without thinking of other things but your face and your presence.
(4) Your accessories, please. Make sure your hand bag, earrings and hair complement the color and style of your dress. Do not wear very high heeled shoes—it’s hard to dance with high-heels.
Feel the magic: the world seems to stop; no voices, no eyes of other people; there is no time, no space—only pure existence, only the two of you surrounded by sparkling lights. Dress up not like a princess or fairest lady of the night; think of your own beauty and your date—your dress is a special gift.
